Children without Parents

    I want to display 5 "random" links that I specify, but the random children will not show without the parents being in the specified list...

    [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`4` &includeDocs=`{{random.links}}` &rowTpl=`basic.row` &outerTpl=`basic.outer` &ignoreHidden=`TRUE`]]

    How (or is it possible) can I do this? Stumped. Children without their parents...

      Do you need to use Wayfinder? You could use Ditto instead:
      [[Ditto? &documents=`{{random.links}}` &display=`5` &tpl=`linksTpl`]]

        The title of this post just makes me sad :’(

        Anyway, includeDocs in wayfinder only works if the docs are available in the menu output (as you have found out). Ditto could do this no problem as suggested.
