    Hi Guys,
    When I use a tv to pass a swf filepath the movie won’t fully load up. Its something to do with modx as the absolute url to the swf plays fine. I’ve tried realative and absolute urls but there is some weird conflict preventing the swf from loading - It gets to 5% in IE and Chrome and top 90% in Firefox. SWF is 456kb. Any settings in Modx Rev 2.1.1 that i can change. TV is set for file input and text output with swf as allowed. Using swfobject and tried dynamic ids also. Stumped sad
    Thanks

        Thanks i had <script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script in the head and that works fine and i amended the base syntax but same issue. It only loads to 5%. The first swf i have on the site works fine but any additional swfs wont load up fully. In the source code (output) everything looks perfect. All I get is the preloader loading to 5% and hanging (or in FF loading to 90%).

        Hmmm what could it be?

        Really strange

        This woks
        <iframe src="uploads/sample.swf" name="frame1" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" align="center" height = "540px" width = "720px">
        </iframe>

          Hi,
          I am using xampp so url wud be http://localhost/uploads/sample.swf. The preloader loads to eg 5% so it sees the swf just that the preloader wont load thru to the content.
          I have 2 swfs using the same identical preloader. 1 works the 2nd doesn’t. Maybe a modx revo 2.1 setting? If i put http://localhost/uploads/sample.swf in the browser the movie loads fine but not if embedded. Does it matter what folder that i use to upload the swfs to or call from?
          There is a system setting in modx revo:

          name>key>value
          Uploadable Flash Types > upload_flash > fla.swf

          that references the assets/flash folder

          The tv is set to upload as "FILE" as opposed to "IMAGE" and output as text. Is this right?

          Thanks

            Maybe its a caching issue? Once page loads the preloader is stopped?
