Where can I find the DropMenu snippet?

Hi,

I’m hoping this is an easy one!

I’ve searched high and low for the DropMenu snippet, which doesn’t exist within my MODx install. Is this snippet still alive?

This site has the DropMenu working: http://www.wovo.org/dropmenu.html

And I’ve found documentation on it’s use: http://modxcms.com/snippet-dropmenu.html

But no Snippet to download?

I could be wrong, but I think that it is deprecated and has been replaced by the much more flexible Wayfinder snippet. I am pretty sure that the menu in wovo is Wayfinder rather than DropMenu as stated. Wayfinder can do all that DM can and so much more.

Are you looking for a specific DM feature?

Yes I’m after a menu that drops down like the WOVO one.

So I guess my best bet is just to use the code on the WOVO site.

The WOVO site is using the default MODx template called "MODx Host". It is installed if you checked the "Install sample data" checkbox when you went through the MODx installation. That template uses the Wayfinder snippet for the menu creation.
