How to get rid of trailing slash on menu root?

I’m using wayfinder and it rocks!

The one thing I’m trying to figure out is when I hit the ’Home’ link, it has a trailing slash at the end. I need to figure out how to get rid of this? Or, have it be a relative call instead of absolute?


Any ideas?

Would love to see the evidence, I’ve read a lot of anecdotal accounts, but nothing definitive. Always up for learning something new!

I understand. A while back a few people & I got together and started collecting stats via bot to see if we could find some information on this. Then, we paid an actuarial science mathematician to analyze the data to find correlations, if any. We found some interesting things and I’ve been using them in site hierarchy & naming of pages ever since. Obviously, it was a comprehensive survey on the internet but it had a large enough sample pool to get some good data.

I’m just telling you what I know.
