[resolved] wayfinder and google friendly sitemap.xml - use sitemap

How awesome is this wayfinder script - so user friendly!!.

Just wondering if anyone out there has had success in using Wayfinder for a Google friendly sitemap.xml and if so, if you have any pointers for inclusion of priority / changefreq etc.

A lot of people, me included, use Sitemap a snippet explicitly designed for generating a Google Sitemap.

I’ve had a play with that and am wondering if anyone has had any luck in using Wayfinder to create a sitemap.xml file. The reason I ask is that I would like to exclude certain document id’s (rather than create extra templates and set as hidden for pages I don’t want displayed).

I believe that as of version 1.0.5 of sitemap you can simply uncheck the Page Settings > Searchable checkbox of the documents you don’t want shown in your sitemap.xml to exclude them.
