By default, when you mouse over a Wayfinder menu item, after a second or so, a tooltip displays with the name of the menu item. Sometimes the tooltip remains on the page even after the link has been clicked. I would like to remove tooltips completely from the menu functionality. Does anyone know the best way to accomplish this?

Try that in diffrent browsers and you will see it’s a browser issue.

yeah, looks like a browser issue. the problem occurs in firefox 2.2.2.14. i just tried replicating it in the latest version of IE but could not. anyway, would still be good to know how to remove the tooltip functionality since tooltips in this context are fairly redundant and seem to be problematic in at least one browser.

They are not tooltips as such but the title and/or alt tags and as such help accessibility and therefore WC3 validation.
If you really don’t want them then you need to modify the Wayfinder template chunks.
