Greetings. I am running MODx 0.961p2 on WAMPSERVER 2.0 and I am having problems switching the order of two menu items in the main navigational menu powered by Wayfinder. Following instructions in the Wiki, I switched the Menuindex numbers in the General Document Settings for each of the two pages, but this did not do the trick and the menu items are still in their original positions. I then searched the forums and found a posting that suggests a code swap in the wayfinder.inc.php file, but the offending code does not seem to exist in the Wayfinder version (2.0) I am running. (The forum posting was made way back in 2006, so this may explain it.) In any case, I would like to reorder the menu items and hope that someone out there can offer some additional tips.

Did you use the parameter &sortBy? If so, what do you sort on?
From the Wayfinder documentation:
&sortBy - Specify any of the following fields to sort the menu: id, menutitle, pagetitle, introtext, menuindex, published, hidemenu, parent, isfolder, description, alias, longtitle, type, template

Instead of changing the menuindex numbers manually, you could also use Doc Manager.
Click on the ’Modules’ tab then ’Doc Manager’. Click the ’Sort Menu Items’ tab then follow the instructions. You can then drag and drop the page titles to reorder them.
