Menu appearing below Flash

Hey all. I have the menu up and running and styled. When it drops down it is behind the flash content on the page. I tried z-index but to no avail. Any suggestions??

Well, don’t get me started on dropdowns but I think you need to add the following to the flash call <param value="transparent" name="wmode"/> and make its container have a z-index of less than the dropdown as well the menu container’s z-index will need to be set as z-index is limited to contained elements so relative divs following the menu’s div will all have a z-index of 0. Give the menu’s dive a z-index of 1000 and then give the flash element div a z-index of 100. Z-index is a pain at the best of times.

Best solution would be to use firebug in Firefox to play with the z-indexing live and test your results. Make sure you double check IE though as it renders z-indexing a little different.
