Menu Hiding Page

What am I doing wrong? When I first open up the site I’m doing (http://www.arcpa.org) everything looks fine on the page. Occasionally, I’ll come back to the browser where it is and find that the menu is covering part of the page content. It stays like that unless I refresh the page or hover over one of the menu items that expands to the next level. Then the hidden area slides over to where it’s supposed to be. This is only happening in IE 7.

However, I’m having another issue with IE 6. The flyout doesn’t work and I’ve got duplicate menu items.



Help...please?

I’ve replicated the problem consistently now, whether that helps or not.

I’ve got multiple tabs open in IE 7. If I leave the page looking fine and switch to a different tab...and refresh that tab...when I go back to the arcpa home page, it’s messed up. It does it every time.

Turning off cacheing for that page may have fixed it. If anyone gets a chance, will you see if it looks ok to you?

I couldn’t make it happen. One possibility is that when you were working on the page, you edited some .css or .tpl files which then got out of synch with your site cache (which tends to be refreshed only when you save a changed document).

If you later edit a document or change a document to uncached, that clears the cache and fixes things.

When weirdness strikes, the first thing to do is clear the site cache manually and also clear your browser’s cache. It never hurts.
