[Bug?] Wrong assignment of parentClass

Hi,

I’ve been building a compex drop-down menu where the styling of items varies if they have children. To do this I’ve been assigning a CSS class using &parentClass.

The problem is: when an item has children, but none of the children are set to ’show in menu’ (so don’t appear in the Wayfinder output) the parentClass is still set on the item. Can someone confirm this as the wrong behaviour, or is there another approach to take?

I was just about to start a new topic as I have exactly the same problem - then I found you’d already posted this.

I have some items set to not show in the menu as they’re historical information and I’m trying to keep my menu output to the minimum possible.  Even though the html shows correctly:

... as you can see the "parent" class is still being assigned.  For the purposes of the (admin) document tree structure it is a parent - but for menu output it isn’t actually a parent.

Is there a way to stop this from happening?
