Working on a way to generate a list of siblings I entered the following wayfinder call:
[!Wayfinder? &startId=[*parent*] &level=1 &outerTpl=`wfOuter` &rowTpl=`wfRow`!]
This didn’t work so after a lot of messing about I eventually tried this
[!Wayfinder? &level=1 &outerTpl=`wfOuter` &rowTpl=`wfRow` &startId=[*parent*]!]
worked straight away with no alterations other than the parameter order. Looks like a bug to me, unless there’s something I’m missing.
Can anyone explain?

It seems it is working but it is not. You did not put backticks around the parent placeholder so it breaks at that point, when this was first it broke imediatly but when you put this last it does everything else and breaks at the end after all the rest was passed.
This: &startId=[*parent*] should be this: &startId=`[*parent*]`
Ok, now it makes sense, thanks. Interestingly though it does still honor the [*parent*] tag without the backticks (replace with id and I get different results) so long as it is the last param.
