problems with dropdown menus in opera and ie

    Hi all,

    I am using the Wayfinder menu with the dropdown css template by cssplay (example here: http://www.muddydogpaws.com/development/wayfinder/examples/example-1.html).

    While everything is OK in IceWeasel (ie, FireFox), I asked someone with IE to check out the menu, and they reported that when you’re hovering over the dropdown menu and it contains an entry with a submenu, it disappears and then there is no way you can select that entry or the ones below in the same level.
    The same problem also appears with Opera9.2.

    I have also tried the proper examples in http://www.muddydogpaws.com/development/wayfinder/examples/examples.html, and the problem also appears.

    This can potentially lead users away from the site - which I don’t want to happen! Has anyone experienced this? How can I fix this?

      Have you tried to see if the examples at CSSPlay work?

        cssplay - it does work, at least in opera! I thought the two were equal, so I did not try it.

        Using the firebug inspector, I selected the first menu entry in either site to see the diffs in the css (image enclosed - be sure to see it at 100% magnification). I do not find significant diffs, but then I’m no css tech, so I could be wrong.
