I would have put this on the wishlist but since OpenGeek has been so outspoken lately about separating MODx and its add-ons, I thought I’d put it here.
What would really make my day is comments in the Wayfinder .CSS files. It shouldn’t be that difficult for someone familiar with Wayfinder, but I think it would be priceless for almost everyone who works with Wayfinder, especially on multiple sites with different menu styles.
I’m sure it’s not immediately evident to a lot of people, for example, what exactly they would styling if they changed the background color here:
.menu ul li:hover ul li:hover a.hide {
background:#6fc;
color:#000;
}
Comments like:
/* styles the top-level active item*/
or
/* styles all second-level non-active items */
would be invaluable.
It would be especially useful for styling the IE .CSS file since the .CSS there often doesn’t match anything that’s in the main .CSS file and it’s hard to duplicate changes made in the main file.
