[SOLVED] How to prevent WayFinder making the active menu item a link ()?

    Hi all,

    I’m converting my first MODx site (0.9.1) to 0.9.6.2 (well, 0.9.6.1 with the security patch). This means I have to drop DropMenu and use WayFinder instead. WayFinder behaves almost like DropMenu with these parameters:
    [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &hereClass=`here` &outerClass=`topnav`]]


    The only thing that is different now is that DropMenu outputs the active menu item as
    <li class="here">Contact</li>

    and WayFinder as
    <li class="here"><a href="/index.php?id=15" title="Contact" >Contact</a></li>


    Does anyone know how to prevent WayFinder making the active menu item an <a> link?

    I looked in the documentation: couldn’t find anything. Looked into the wayfinder.inc.php code, and it seems that the <a> is hardcoded. But I hope I am mistaken. ;-)

      Create a dedicated template for the here tpl. From the wiki, add a param along the lines of:

      &hereTpl=`wf.here`

      with {{wf.here}} set to:
      <li class="here">[+wf.linktext+]</li>
