I am relatively new (2 years) to ModX, but have developed my share of ModX sites and was curious about whether or not anyone has ever suggested including a very simple Robots.txt file in with the downloadable package?

Is there any interest in this, its not too big of a deal for the developer, but its something I always have to upload after each install.

    any thoughts?
      ModX. 'nuff said.

      hi,

there is one, at least with Evo, named sample-robots.txt, you just have to rename it robots.txt and add your own rules in it if you need

        I want to upload myself…
I have my MODX-Boilerplate where I added such stuff but as Revo comes without snippets, extras etc it’s the logical way to not offer a robots.txt imo.
