Can i have two wayfinder menus in one template???

Hi

Try it without ANY Span tags and tell me what happens...so, delete all span tags in your <ul>;

It is just the top menu that doesn’t display, the html is:
<ul>
<li class="active"><a href="#"><span>Home</span></a></li>
<li><a href="#"><span>About</span></a></li>
<li><a href="#"><span>News</span></a></li>
<li><a href="#"><span>Links</span></a></li>
<li><a href="#"><span>Contacts</span></a></li>
</ul>

and also from here

I have a chunk called topNav:
<li[+wf.classes+]>
<span><a href="[+wf.link+]" title="[+wf.title+]">[+wf.linktext+]</a></span>
</li>

also maybe its the css problem if this doesent help

No that doesn’t work, but i think i’ve narrowed it down a bit more.
It seems to only work with a page id of `0`.
So the sidebar vertical menu does not display with anything other than an id of `0`.

Any ideas???

Suppose that your site structure is as follows (remember that the root = 0):



A call with startId=`0` will return the entire menu since all the docs are a child of the root (id 0). if you have startId=`5` you will get nothing since there are no children to id 5. However if you have satrtId=`3` you will have the sub menu of id 3 (id’s 6,7,8,9).

For the menus to work in Wayfinder the documents need to be related to eachother somehow in the document tree in acordance to the startId document (or parent). You can controll how deap the menu goes with the level parameter.

I have exactly the same problem and I can’t get my second wayfinder call showing up.

My site structure is as such:
       Home (1)
       +programs (2)
                Aerobics (5)
                Aquatics (6)
                Batting Cage (7)
                Birthday Parties (8)
                Fitness Bootcamp (9)
      + Facilities (3)
                Facilities -sub1 (14)
                Facilities -sub2 (15)
      + Services (4)
              services -sub1 (16)
               services -sub2 (17)
       About (10)
        Feedback (11)
         getdirections (12)
       sitemap (13)

The first call  is has dropdown menu that shows like this and it’s working fine:
Home | Programs | Services | Facilities
[[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`2` &outerTpl=`wf_tpl` &jsTpl=`pmmjs` &cssTpl=`p7mm` &innerTpl=`wf_innertpl` ]]

I want the second call placed in the footer to look like this:
[[Wayfinder? &startId=`10`]]

But what I am seeing instead is that all documents are showing up in the first call and the second call returns empty.

Don’t know what I should add in the second call to make the footer menu shows up. If I added the excludDocs for  the IDs of the footer menu in  the the first call like so:
[[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`2` &outerTpl=`wf_tpl` &jsTpl=`pmmjs` &cssTpl=`p7mm` &innerTpl=`wf_innertpl` &excludeDocs=`10,11,12,13` ]]
          

There  are disappearing from the top menu but the footer menu still now showing up.

Can anyone help please?!

          

Never mind! I got it working. Wasn’t clear to me that I have to place the documents of my second wayfinder call in a container.
