How Insert separator between menu & Default menu arranging order reverse ?

Hi

I have one site with menus like -- Home About Contact etc.
1.) I want to insert one separator between them like Home | About | Contact etc.
2.) When I create new document pages, I want to come it right side of menu [ after Contact in this case ] by default. Now its menu index is like Contact - 0, About - 1, Home - 2 .. the menu title are arranged in ascending from right to left. I want this arrangement from left to right by default.
How can I resolve these two problems... If anybody can help it would be very helpful..

You can arrange the order of the menu items by changing the "menu index" of the documents in question.

Perhaps the best way to have a divider like that is to use a right-border for each element (li or a elements as seems most appropriate), the for the ".last" or ".last a" element have the css set the right-border to none.

can we change the order of build menu , I mean in reverse order as the older versions. Last created pages coming at the right end ? there is any options other than change menu index , I am asking this again because our customer want to just create pages and that pages come at right of menu one by one.

One option: wrap it in a DIV, make each item "float: right; display: block" (including the separators), and you’re done. Probably need a clearing break or other technique at the end.
