3 Layer Menu with Wayfinder, Mootools and Scriptaculous

Im having trouble setting up a 3 layered Dropmenu with Wayfinder and Mootools or Scriptacolous. I have used the Menu from the ModxHost Template as a guideline but didnt get the third layer to show up correctly. I have tried to style it in the common way with css (like this: #ajaxmenu li.category ul li ul li {...) but the third layer isnt showing up as a solo layer - it seems that the third layer is "behind" the second layer and is flickering in Firefox. So my problem is, that i can set up a 3 Layered Menu like shown in the examples of Muddydogpawns, or a 2 Layered animated Menu like in ModXhost Template but no animated 3 layered Menu.
Maybe someone could help me how to add the animation functionality to one of the 3 layered examples of muddydogpawns. Im pretty new to these scripts languages...Help would be really appriciated!
