Wayfinder uses HTML entities in the linktext, but does not do so for the title -- this is necessary to ensure validation, and also to ensure a title containing " does not break the page.
$phArray = array($useSub,$useClass,$classNames,$resource['link'],$resource['title'],htmlentities($resource['linktext']),$useId,$resource['link_attributes'],$resource['id'],$resource['introtext'],$resource['description'],$numChildren);
could be changed to:
$phArray = array($useSub,$useClass,$classNames,$resource['link'],htmlentities($resource['title']),htmlentities($resource['linktext']),$useId,$resource['link_attributes'],$resource['id'],$resource['introtext'],$resource['description'],$numChildren);
(e.g. change
htmlentities($resource[’title’]) )
