Forgive the basic question but for some reason I’m struggling with figuring out how to apply wayfinder to what I want to achieve here - a simple menu and submenu combo.
Doc Structure:
Cat 1
- Page 1
- Page 2
Cat 2
- Page 1
- Page 2
I’m trying to create a main menu that displays the categories and a sub menu that then appears below displaying links to the other pages. I can achieve this using ultimate parent, however I’m not sure how to achieve the visual display I want.
When a category is clicked i’d like the sub menu to have an item already selected and displayed. I realise that I could do this using the First Child Redirect snippet, but surely this is an uneccessary step? And I doubt its particularly good to have 2 urls pointing to the same document for SEO purposes.
Are there any other ways around this?
