wayfinder and ie7

    I’ve hunted and hunted through these forums trying to find the answer to my problem to no avail. I feel I must be overlooking the obvious. I’m using the mollio example and cannot get the dropdowns to work in ie7. I’m using the correct doctype. I’ve tried with both wayfinder 2.0 and 1 (stock version with .95). I thought perhaps it was a configuration problem; thus I reinstalled MODx without any tweaks, added snippets other than the sample snippets. I cut and pasted the example css straight into my HTML with a stripped down HTML.

    Please... if anybody knows how to get this to work with ie7, enlighten me!

      You and I missed the obvious, what made it work for me is simply the page doctype declaration.

      I had the following: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
      changed it to: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

      There is some other code for IE browsers < v6.0 which you can find in the sample tempalte that comes in the dist.
