sublevels MODxHost Menu

Hello to everyone, I like the default Template at http://demo.opensourcecms.com/modx/ and I’m trying to mod it. I encountered problem with the javascript menu (wayfinder) and sublevels menu. I created a document (folder) with 3 childs documents and I check the box show in menu.
Now the menu doesn’t show the sublevel menu as I thought. I look severals post in this forum but I could’nt understand how to make it works.
Could please someone suggest the right way to shows the sublevel menu?

Maybe I’m a bit confused about Modx... Simpler question: Can I show sublevel menu in the modxhost default javascrit menu?

I think that menu only supports 2 levels, in the default it has a startId of 0, so it shows all documents with a parent of 0 and there children when an item is hovered.

So, is the fix to make the "Home" page have the ID of 0? I’m a bit confused on this as well as I’m having the same problem.

When you use a startId of 0 in Ditto or Wayfinder, that means it will work with all the documents in the "root" of the Document Tree. In other words, those documents have no parent.

The Ditto call for that template shows all top level documents, and the dropdown will show their immediate children.

If you’ve created a new document under one of those top-level documents, its children will not show in the menu, but it itself will. If you created it under one of the second-level documents, it won’t show at all.
