Newbie Wayfinder

I am trying to create a standard main menu for my template and I believe that Wayfinder what I should use. However, when I open this snippet I am not clear as to what to do. I tried checking the Execute Snippet after Saving box however I get a couple of errors. Am I going about this wrong? Thanks

You just put Wayfinder in your page or your template more likely where you want it to generate menus like the following:



where 1 is the container document that you want it to start building from. If you want it to start from the top level, that would be a 0. Please pay attention that those are backticks, and not single-quotes, too. Good luck!
