Need help making a multi-level drop down menu

I have created the "normal" drop down type menu on my page. Now I need to have some of the menu items show a third level menu out to the side. For example:

| support | case studies | press releases | ......
| 2007 > | |February |
| 2006 | |January |
| 2005 | ---------------
| 2004 |
-----------------

I am not having any problems getting the first and second level (i.e. main menu and drop down menu), but cannot figure how to get the "flyout" menus.
