What happened to the DropMenu snippet?

I understand that DropMenu has been deprecated in favour of Wayfinder, but a huge number of site templates in the downloads section require it.
Where ca I download it, or would you strongly advise not installing it with 0.9.5 ?
Alternatively, is there a tutorial somewhere explaining how to replace basic DropMenu calls with equivalent WayFinder ones?

I realise that things move on, but I suspect lots of newbies like me download templates and get confused when they don’t work.

Replacing DropMenu with Wayfinder

Some older templates may use the deprecated DropMenu snippet instead of WayFinder. The DropMenu snippet is not included in MODx 0.9.5 or above.
These templates can often be easily updated to use Wayfinder by replacing the call to DropMenu as follows:
