Issues in Safari and other mac browsers?

making a site, www.ljusdesign.se .. using modx and the wayfinder snippet and we’ve been getting calls from people telling us our menu is fubared on their machintoshes especially safari.

tell me how it looks on your macs ppl!

i also noticed some strange "feature" in the latest ie for windows, where the submenus dont overlap the parent column in the multi-level dropdown thingie.

as for any other bugs or glitches you may find, just pm me about it!

In Safari/WebKit you are getting ghosts of the sub menus at times (they stay after you have moused-out).

- Safari 2.0.4 (419.3)
- WebKit r18429

FF seems fine though.

- Firefox 2.0.0.1

There is a Win port of WebKit (Safari rendering engine) called Swift I haven’t tested it so I don’t know how useful it is at the moment - it’s currently still in alpha, but may be worth a look.

- In Safari 2.0.4i see the same "ghost" drop-down sub-menus than grass
- Everything is Ok with Firefox 1.5.0.9
- Everything is working well with iCab 3.03 too but i have the "red smiley" about CSS errors in .../templates/terrafirma/default.css:

• Line 9 : "-moz-outline-style" is an unknown style (try "outline-style" instead)
• Line 418 : "list-type" is an unknown style (try "list-style-type" instead)
• Line 424 : "list-type" is an unknown style
• Line 509 : malformed declaration type (try "padding-top: 40px")
• Line 509 : malformed declaration type (try "padding-bottom: 10px")

(alternaly there is a HTML error about an unclosed </p> tag line 344 & 358 in index.html probably related to the call "<p><p align="left">....")

Perhaps than the Safari bad behavior is related to the non standard css styles.
