First Child Redirect

Is there a way to have this applied automatically to any
resource that is a container?

Or even have it as a tickbox on a Create Resource Page?

The way I structure websites, I always have an overview page
right after the Resource Container. I usually ask my clients
to insert the
[[!FirstChildRedirect? &sortDir=`ASC`]]
manually but it’s not a great solution.

Maybe I could create a chunk called [[$FirstChild]]
for them which would be a bit easier for them to remember!

nothing easier, just create a template with only firschildredirect call in it and choose this template for all your containers, done
