    Hi Guys,
I’m using superfish as my menu with wayfinder. When I add a new document wayfinder only displays it on some pages and 5 minutes later the menu item just appears on others eg it took 5 mins for the menu item to appear on the home page but the document preview of the document showed the new link immediately? I cleared system cache and browser cache on firefox. ie and chrome but same issue. It appeared to work on urls like mysite.com/index.php?id=31 fine but not on mysite.com or mysite.com/index.php (urls without ?id=n).

    I use this code:
    [[!Wayfinder?
      &startId=`0`
      &outerTpl=`horizNavmenuOuter`
      &rowTpl=`horizNavmenuRow`
      &innerTpl=`horizNavmenuInner`
      &innerRowTpl=`horizNavmenuInnerRow`
      &hereClass=`current_page_item`
      &firstClass=``
      &lastClass =`` ]]

Is there a way to disable caching or something or force that updated links are pulled into the menu. I submitted this to the bug section too.

    Thanks

A lot of people are experiencing caching problems with the latest Wayfinder version. Unpublished/ deleted links still appearing in the front-end etc.

File your issue here. Perhaps we can see an update soon. https://github.com/splittingred/Wayfinder/issues/27

          Thanks Ryan! smiley

Trying to help here. Hope I don’t sound too pushy, but those menu caching problems can be really frustrating if you have no clue what the cause is tongue.

I found that the Wayfinder cache folder: ../core/cache/wayfinder doesn’t get cleared when I go to Site > Clear Cache in the MODx Manager [MODx Revolution 2.0.8-pl (traditional)] so the only workaround for me is to delete the contents of ../core/cache/wayfinder via FTP.

I can confirm that the wayfinder cache folder needs to be deleted. Bad bug

Just had downloaded the new version from the Extras - to see it was unnecessary: you can update from within the package management so easily. Great!
