the template on my subpage doesn't work

Hi,

I have a sub menu so :

Home
- about me


On the home page i have a template, and that template i want to use for About me.. but it doesn’t work....

How can i fix this?

i have Evolution 1.0.4

Check your plugins (Elements -> Manage Elements, and the Plugins tab). You should have a plugin named "Inherit Parent Template". Take a look at its configuration tab; there is an option to set it to inherit from parent or to inherit from sibling. Make sure it’s set to inherit from parent, and that it is enabled.

I see this isn’t installed as part of 1.0.5.

And that is because it’s been incorporated into the Configuration! There’s a new field in the Site tab, Automatic Template Assignment, with the options System, Parent or Sibling. Learn something new every day!

Hi, I have updated to 1.0.5 and i see the option.. But it is still not working on my submenu’s i don’t get ik

Once the subpage has been created, these settings won’t have any effect; they are only good on pages as they are being created. You’ll need to edit the subpage and set its template there.

I deleted the subpages. then i changed the setting, so it says that Automatic Template Assignment is parent.

then i make a new subpage.. and it still doesn’t work..

Did you clear the site cache and your browser cache?

it works now.... i had to put [(base_url)] in front of every link..

But the page is working.. but the images that i upload in modx are not displaying...
