    I have 5 links that are text based. But I also have 1 image. But how can the image be part of the wayfinder menu without being repeated?

      If it is the first or the last you can specify that in your template and assign a special CSS class. I’ve done that on one of my sites as the last link on the menu is a shopping link.

      .shop-link {
              display: inline;
      	background: url("../images/cart.png") center left no-repeat;
      	font-size:11px;
      	font-weight:bold;
      	line-height:25px;
      	margin:8px 0 15px;
      	padding:5px 20px 5px 30px;
      }

        Well, it’s just a home button on the page, but it isn’t part of the navigation menu. Is it also possible then?

          Guess it is the first link, yes? Either place the button within the template or add it to your template.

          I am by no means an expert but my take on using MODx is this. I create the page or chunks of the page and decide which parts should be dynamic and served by the CMS and which sections static. This one seems easy, make it part of your template.
