    Hi,

I’m fairly new to MODx and I’m looking for ways to make this CMS as SEOproof as possible. Instead of using a .HTML or .PHP extension for URLs, I’m using trailing slashes. Like this:

    • demosite.com/news/
    • demosite.com/news/this-is-a-title/

Works pretty good so far, but when I remove the trailing slash in the browser and press Enter again, the page doesn’t 301 redirect to the trailing slash once more. It shows the same page without the trailing slash!

Now, I know there’s an addon for this. SEO Strict URLs. However, I’m under the impression that this should be a walk in the park with .HTACCESS. Shouldn’t there be a few simple rules added in that file in order to make this work properly?

Thanks for your replies in advance!
