I have a revamped site that uses two navigation systems. The top nav is just a set of basic links that are presented in the template. The sidebar nav uses Wayfinder.
Say my top nav looks like this: HOME || Fruit || Veges || Contact
If I click on the Veges tab the Breadcrumbs menu looks like this: Home >> Veges
Say I now make Veges a container with child pages called Peas and Carrots.
If I click on the Carrots page the Breadcrumbs menu will look like this: Home >> Carrots
I want the Breadcrumb menu to display the actual path like this: Home >> Veges >> Carrots
Right now the snippet call is just [[Breadcrumbs]]
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks!
Hello,
You must set your system settings for using friendly aliases.
In System > System Settings :
Use Friendly Alias Path -> yes
Use Friendly Alias -> yes
Use Friendly URLs -> yes.
Of course you have to give aliases to your pages...
Hope this helps, I’ve no problem with Breadcrumbs using this settings...
Yup, I have those settings activated but the problem persists...
Did you try to call the snippet uncached ? -> [[!Breadcrumbs]]
OK, I think I have fixed this issue...
I added this: ? &respectHidemenu=`0`to the Breadcrumbs call and that seems to take care of the issue...
