WayFinder and &excludeDocs

    you can also choose to put your 3 & 4 sub-items in almost "fake" containers.

    I mean :

    Item 1
    SubItem 1
    SubItem 2
    Item 2
    SubItem 1
    SubItem 2
    Item 3
    Tricky Container "3"
    SubItem 1
    SubItem 2
    Item 4
    Tricky Container "4"
    SubItem 1
    SubItem 2.


    Let Wayfinder call two levels 
    &level=`2`
    and exclude the fake containers 
    &excludeDocs=`1,22`
    (1 and 22 are for example)

    OR hide those containers from the menu via the manager.

      splittingred--are you maintaining Wayfinder?

      I sent this simple patch to kylej some time ago but it did not get included in any recent releases. The Patch works with the current version of Wayfinder and provides common-use functionality that many people ere looking for.

        I have been able to hide submenu with PHx inside &rowTpl=`chunkname`

        <li class="[+wf.classnames+]">
     <a href="[+wf.link+]">[+wf.linktext+]</a>
     [+phx:if=`[+wf.title+]`:is=`Menu Title Here`:then=``:else=`[+wf.wrapper+]`+]
</li>


        Instead of [+wf.title+] you can try with a Template Variable with default value @INHERIT

          Why did you had to use special template instead of kehezen’s salvation which is probably the easiest way to achive your needs? smiley

            Because, if I understand correctly, with kehezen solution you have to add another level in the url alias.
