Hi all,
I have been trying to work this out for some time now but am getting nowhere. I will simplify the problem as I feel my prevous posts wern’t very clear. My sub menus disappear once they have been clicked on rather than staying visible and with an active state on the current page.
My wayfinder call out is as follows:
[[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`0` &rowTpl=`wfRowTpl` &selfClass=`here` &innerClass=`sub`]]
My css for the menu is as follows:
}
#nav {
float: left;
display:block;
z-index:1000;
}
#nav ul {
line-height: 24px;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
width: 100px;
}
#nav a, #nav a:visited {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
text-transform: uppercase;
color: #FFFFFF;
text-decoration: none;
}
#nav a:hover, #nav a:active {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
text-transform: uppercase;
color: #0099FF;
text-decoration: none;
}
#nav li.here a {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
text-transform: uppercase;
color: #0099FF;
text-decoration: none;
}
#nav .sub {
top: 0px;
left: 120px;
position: absolute;
display: none;
}
#nav ul li {
position: relative
}
#nav ul li.here ul {
display:block;
}
The wfRowTpl part of the wayfinder callout simply refers to a template creating these lines before my menu items |
So I don’t think this is causing the issue.
The site is here:
www.squaredgepictures.co.uk/cmstemp
If you click on Gallery or Commissions you will see the sub menu. Then click on one of these and it disappears.
If anyone out there can help with this I would be massively grateful as this has been going on for a long time now and I’m afraid I’m no expert in this field.
Thanks a lot.
Edit: turns out I just needed to edit my wayfinder callout and css .here class to .active.
