Question - Clean URL not working

For some reason my clean url is not working correctly - I have built a site and I have turned on

Use FriendlyUrls - Yes
Friendly URLS Prefix - Blank
Friendly URL Suffix - .html
Use Friendly URL Alias - Yes
Use Friendly URL Path - Yes
Allow Duplicate ALias - No
Automatically generate Alias - Yes

But when I try to click on the link (Im using Wayfinder which works fine) but I would get a page cant be displayed but if I do a preview instead it goes to - http://domainsite.net/index.php?id=2

I wanted it to go to like a http://www.domainsite.net/about-us (something like that)

Im on a Linux Server -

Any assistance would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks a million for a great product!

Hi Billy,

did you change your ht.access file to .htaccess?

One thing I had to do on Hostgator (me like) was to un-comment FollowSymlinks

But I didn’t use Url path option!
