Breadcrumbs: Home is shown twice

Hello, I’m using this call:

And this outputs "Start" with link to the start page twice on every page, e.g. "Start » Start » Links".

What can I do to stop this?

Thanks
Martin

I’m seeing two home links in my trail also, but I think it has something to with any page with the index as it’s parent is put into the directory "index".

Can anyone shed some light on this. I’m certain I’ve missed a setting somewhere, but can’t see for looking. I’ve tried searching here and the wiki, but can’t find anything relevant.

Thanks guys,

Rich

What is your resources structure?
What is your MODx version?

Thanks for your quick response.

I’m using 1.02.

Excuse my ignorence, what are you refering to when you say resource structure?

Cheers

Home
|- Class pages

If you do Multilanguage website, perhaps you’ll do this:
Home
|-Home (en)
|-- Class pages (en)
|-Home (de)
|-- Class pages (de)

Home
|- Class pages
Headmaster
Contact

you can try this:
[[Breadcrumbs?showHomeCrumb=`0`]]
But remember, if you do this for global template, then Headmaster and Contact also doesn’t have ’Home >>’ crumb anymore.

Or this:
[[Breadcrumbs?&ignoreIds=`1`]]

Btw,
welcome to MODx, you can start learning Breadcrumb parameters from its cheatsheet.

Thank you very much.

Is there a way of having pages beneath the index in the root and not in the index sub directory?

[[Breadcrumbs? &ignoreIds=`1` &hideUnder=`folderId`]]

The folder itself won’t be hidden.

The &hideOn parameter can also be useful.

This is an example that works fine:

In this example, "49" corresponds to an unpublished language folder just under the site root.
