page redirect

I installed/configured modx for a website, in a subfolder. So not in the root of the domain:

www.domain.com/subfolder

what should I do, to redirect to the browser to that subfolder?

create a php page and name it index.php write below code in this page nothing else delete all html. and upload it to your root folder that is www.domain.com
