These are most definitely 2 separate Wayfinder calls. Perhaps even made with Ditto, since I don’t see any sub-levels when hovering over any items with the mouse.
The trick is to use dynamic parent references: &startId=`[*parent*]` or &parents=`[*parent*]`
If you’re using several levels in your site-structure, the UltimateParent snippet may come in handy (should be pre-installed already).

I did try the code below and it sort of worked, but once you clicked into a sub menu item it dissapeared.
[!Wayfinder? &startId=`[*id*]`!]
Is that a correct way of trying it?

Actually solved it, just used this were I wanted the sub menu to appear, works perfectly, many thanks.
[!Wayfinder? &startId=`[[UltimateParent]]` !]
Is it that simple??
