Hi there,

probably this is a stupid question and just not possible...

i’m experimenting with a Javascript menu -> http://www.barandis.com/dev/jquery/ddmenu/index.html
i got this somehow working with wayfinder but the problem is i would have to dynamically change the js-call for each page, otherwise only the initial state of the menu will show up by clicking on a link. i need to insert dynamically the menutitles in the js-call for each page:

<script type="text/javascript">
			$(function() {
				$('#nav > ul').ddMenu({
					initial: '[*menutitle_first_level*]|[*menutitle_second_level*]|[*menutitle_third_level*]',
					easing: 'easeOutExpo',
					duration: 1000,
					rootTitle: 'Menu'
				});
			});
		</script>

so this example would show a third level menu-item, is something like this be doable?

regards, j

If that javascript is on the actual document then you could use a snippet to generate the list. Wayfinder or Ditto can generate the list with custom tpl.

Keep in mind though that this menu doesn’t work in IE7. Just FYI...

Hi Ganesh,

i noticed that as well, it doesn’t work in IE6 too, although the documentation says it does, or should...

since it’s not working in those browsers it’s pretty much useless i guess

thanx, j
