Breadcrumbs homePageID

I have a problem that’s been baffling me for a while and so I decided I need help.

I’m trying to use Breadcrumbs, and and have it start at the page with id 51. In the configuration file, I’ve set it to 51, and when that didn’t work I called it with the parameter [[Breadcrumbs? &homePageId=`51`]] Neither of these have appeared to work, and the breadcrumbs display right back to the first page.

I can’t find anything about this, and I am relatively new to ModX so I’m not sure what is going wrong.

Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. The &homePageId parameter just doesn’t work.
The solution is to insert this code before breadcrumbs call:

<span class="B_crumbBox"><span class="B_firstCrumb"><a class="B_homeCrumb" href=’[~8~]’>HOME</a></span></span> » [!Breadcrumbs? &showHomeCrumb=`0`!]

where 8 is number of your homepage and HOME is title of homepage..
