Ditto v. Wayfinder - Efficiency

If the output I was looking to generate could be accomplished via Ditto or Wayfinder, which would you choose based on efficiency of the code?

Based on the code wayfinder seems simpler. But simpler does not always mean more efficient.

Well, create two docs - once with WF, once with Ditto - and use the timing tags

[^qt^] - Query Time - Shows how long MODx took talking to the database
[^q^] - Query Count -Shows how many database queries MODx made
[^p^] - Parse Time - Shows how long MODx took to parse the page
[^t^] - Total Time - Shows the total time taken to parse/ render the page

It looks like Ditto adds some additional overhead. At least in my test case.
