    Just had a thought, is it worth using the tags TV in the keywords meta tag in the markup?

    Has anyone used this and if so, how did it work out, ranking wise?

    Thanks,
    Luke.

        in the latest release, &min support seems to be broken, i tried to find it in the code but there isnt any except in the config block.

        After line 167:

        foreach ($tags as $tag => $data) {

        add:

        	if ($min > 0 && $data['count'] < $min) {
        		unset($tags[$tag]);
        		break;
        	}

        If this works OK, I’ll merge it into the code.

          Hi ncrossland, I’ve got the latest version named "2.1.1" at http://modxcms.com/TvTagCloud-734.html and the said line is on 164, i tried, i am copying the surrounding code block here for quick reference:
                             // Now we've totalled up how often each word appears, determine what style we should apply
          Line:164     foreach ($tags as $tag => $data) {
          	                   $chosen_style = 0;	// a default style
                                     $step = (100 / $data['count']); // get percentage

          	                   for ($i=0;$i<count($steps);$i++) {
          		                   if ($step <= $steps[$i]) {
          			                   $tags[$tag]['style'] = $styles[$i];
          			                   break;
          		                   }
          	                   }

          I tried to add it before and after for-loop but no luck..

          Please take a look, thanks. smiley

            Hi
            I’m using this code
            [!TvTagCloud? &parent=`17,19` &landing=`80` &tvTags=`committente` &displayType=`list` &showCount=`1`!]

            and it works well! smiley

            Now I’m looking for if it is possible to filter the data from &parent before, with another Tag, or like in Ditto (&tagData=`client` &tags=`Administration`) and then apply [!TvTagCloud? ... !]

            Thank you

              The &min function also does not work for me. even after adding the fix mentioned.

              Besides, is it possible to add a parameter to cap the number of tag listed? Something like the &display in ditto. It may be useful when the tags are listed horizontal, and when sorting by occurrences.

                I can’t seem to get the "&styles" to work...here is my call:

                [!TvTagCloud? &parent=`1` &landing=`1` &tvTags=`documentTags` &showCount=`1` &displayType=`list` &steps=`1,5,10` &styles=`try1,s2,try3` &tooltip=`Check out ([+count+]) pages about [+tag+]`!]

                for some reason, there is no class name in the HTML. What am I doing wrong?

                Thanks!

                  First I want to thank you for this wonderful snippet. smiley It’s EXACTLY what I was looking for.

                  I have a question / request if possible.
                  On the result page I would like to be able to display the selected tag as a heading (h1) - <h1>Selected Tag</h1>

                  The page structure will have to be something like
                  <h1>Selected Tag</h1>
                  ditto call

                  Can some help me out please?

                  A big THANK YOU!

                      Hi,

                      you could write a little snippet to get the selected tags

                      <?php

                      $tags = (isset($_GET['tags'])) ? $_GET['tags'] : "";
                      if(strlen($tags)>0){
                      return "<h1>".$tags."</h1>";
                      }

                      should do the trick

                      :-)
