Thanks very much for the info ingero.

adding the parameter &xsl=`sitemap.xsl` worked for me and it now picks up the xsl style sheet.

EDIT: Not sure if you made a typo or if its different in your xsl file but I had to change the line:

    xmlns:sitemap="http://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84"

    to

    xmlns:sitemap="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9"

    Thanks!

      Hi

I’m running MODx Evolution 1.0.1 and cannot get SiteMap to work. Presumably this is a version issue as SiteMap wiki states compatibility with versions 0.9.5 | 0.9.6.

However, if I presume wrong could someone let me know so I can try resolve the issue.

      Thanks
      Ian

I am running MODx version 1.0.2 and the ’SiteMap’ snippet works fine. I suggest it isn’t a version issue. I am fairly new to MODx and it was ’interesting’ getting the snippet to work correctly. smiley

I installed this, and followed all the instructions. The page I installed this on works if it is called by index.php?id=13, but it fails if called by sitemap.xml - the URL alias is filled in, any suggestions?

If you have set the FURL suffix to .html in the Manager Configuration, the the actual url should be sitemap.xml.html

              URL alias: sitemap.xml.html

It doesn’t feel right, and it also gave me a 404 error...

If the alias is just sitemap, rather than sitemap.xml, then the url should be sitemap.html, but the content will be rendered as xml.

Just like to confirm again that this snippet, which I have been using since it’s inception - does not work in latest Evo release.

Can someone with more programming language take a look please??

                    I am using version 1.0.2.

-I moved everything in the repo txt file (all of the PHP) into a snippet called sitemap.
-In a blank template document with Rich Text Editor turned off, a title of Sitemap (for admin purposes) and a URL alias of sitemap.xml, I have "[!sitemap? &format=`sp`!]" and published.

I can only access the XML via index.php?id= and not simply sitemap.xml. Does Friendly URLs need to be turned on? The Wiki instructions leads one to believe it’s 1-3 steps, but it doesn’t appear so.

                    Can anyone help?

                      @jadedchron : You’d have to have FURL’s turned on to use sitemap.xml
@Moondawgy : I’m using it fine with Evo 1.0.2, what happens for you?
