    Hi there!

okayokay smiley you got me, friendly url is not on and if i browse to the right id i see the xml output! two more questions: is it enough to tell google where to find this page (www...index.php?id=54) and can i set the page to not published so it won’t show up in the menu? (btw, i’m not allowed to use .htaccess-files on the server)

thank you very much & cheers, jan
Good to hear that it worked !

For the 1st question, I know little about Google sitemap. Anyone else will give you some advice.
For the 2nd question, I think you have to publish your xml document. But it is possible to publish and hide it from the menu. (I don’t know how you built up your menu, but Wayfinder checks ’Show in menu’ check box and the document is not listed when ’Show in menu’ check box is off.)

I am having the same issue. Have you been able to find a resoultion? I am looking to print a UL/LI sitemap.
You should look at Wayfinder, which can output all documents as UL/LI

Yes, you can submit the URL for the sitemap via the Google Webmaster Tools, or by putting a line in your robots.txt file:

          Sitemap: http://www.example.com/sitemap.xml

Note, the sitemap file has to appear in the top level of your server.

no ,that means the page has not been found. It doesn’t require to have .xml on the end -- as long as the content ype is set to text/xml

i added the url of the xml-page to google and it says everything’s fine with it, no errors or warnings.

                thanx for your help!

                  http://symphonicheaven.com/site/sitemap/

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare gettv() (previously declared in /hsphere/local/home/symphoni/symphonicheaven.com/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(769) : eval()’d code:232) in /hsphere/local/home/symphoni/symphonicheaven.com/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(769) : eval()’d code on line 255

Anyone know why I’m getting that issue, and how to fix it?

Also might be the reason why http://symphonicheaven.com/sitemap.xml is failing. I wanted to use this script, because it allows for published documents inside unpublished documents to work...
