Any chance to see this extra being compatible to Revolution 2.2.x?

That's definitely something planned. My biggest "problem" being to find some time to do so.

romain, how do you install Asides?

If I select System -> Package Manegement -> Download Extras -> and the type "asides" in the search field, i get "No data to display" message.

Yes, I did find a zip file at http://modx.com/extras/package/asides, but - I hate to say it - I don't know how to install an Extra from a zip file.

Download the transport zip files from the Extras section on the website and upload them to the core/packages/ directory. Then you can Add Package --> Scan for Local Packages in the Package Manager.

I'm using version 1.1.0 dev1, but I forget where I got it from!

All of a sudden the checkboxes have disappeared from Asides. I've removed it and re-installed it, but no checkboxes. This is baffling...

Well that was really odd. I had an auto-tag TV and when they're both available on the same template the Asides TV loses its checkboxes.

Ah. As soon as the options in the Auto-Tag TV go to two rows, then the Asides TV loses its checkboxes.

And Ah! again. It's not really losing the checkboxes, the container is getting pushed over to the right until you can't see them any more. So the Auto-Tags TV breaks the list to move to a new row, but the Asides container is still being expanded to the right. So it's a styling/width issue. Both are really at fault; Auto-Tag shouldn't be pushing everything to the right, and Asides shouldn't be allowing itself to be stretched like that.
