I don’t know what could cause that. I can’t reproduce it at all.

You might try reinstalling SPForm.

If that doesn’t work, you could try completely removing it, re-downloading, and reinstalling.

Hi all,

Coupla things:

1. I get the same problem that’s reported here. I delete and re-install a new version of SPForm only to have it start happening again in a few weeks. Had to remove from one client’s site, and now looking for another solution Too bad, SPForm was so easy to setup and reliable until this problem.

2. Absolutely no idea how to make this work in multiple contexts. My own site is 4 contexts setup in one Manager and SPForm doesn’t work in any context other than default `web`. Any guidance would be appreciated...

Do you have MODx 2.0.8?

Actually...no! 2.06. I guess I should upgrade, huh? LOL. I’m starting to have too many sites on MODX to keep up with the upgrading. Can’t wait til it’s a one-button thing.

I’ll keep you posted BobRay. Don’t take my post the wrong way - SPForm is still the EASIEST email form to implement on MODX, that I’ve used anyway.

You should definitely upgrade, but make sure you the proper permissions for all front-end users for each context.


It’s entirely possible, though, that SPForm doesn’t handle cross-context forwarding. Unfortunately, I don’t have any time to check it out right now.

I am also getting the blank page on contact form. Sometimes it’s working the I’ll do an update and go back to the site and the contact page won’t work again and gives a blank page after pressing send. So I have to login to manager, clear the cache and then it’ll work again for a while. My new theory is to make the Contact container/page/folder in manager not cacheable - so far this is working but it might be coincidence. Can’t wait for a fix for this as I also have many sites to keep checking on and spform is the best email solution.

The most likely cause is a problem with the cache that has nothing to do with SPForm. Are you using 2.0.8? It fixes some cache issues.
