used to not getting answers on 90% of what I ask, but I’ll try once more, I am suddenly having problems with four sites on login register 1.5.2 on revo 2.0.8, before they worked seemingly fine, nothing has been done, all templates are from the rtfm documentation
unfortunately when a user registers the email sent contains a link which returns a 404.

as I said all the forms are from the rtfm, there hasn’t been an update to login for a bit, so I am wondering what is causing this.
also recaptcha no longer works, I can type whatever I want in the form and it doesn’t matter.
it redirects properly, andthe activation resource is correct and published with the correct snippet call, again all RTFM.
this is a severe problem, does anyone have an idea of what is going on, I have been at this since 6 this mourning it is now 8p.m. and I just get figure it out, I have done everything possible. why it doesn’t work now I have no idea. I removed the submitVar and the email sent connected just fine to the correct page, tried again, and this time it returned the same error, a 404 page not found.
even if I remove the prehook and the submitvar, there is a 404, does it have something to do with a formit update?

archivist? never seen that error output before, I am thinking the archivist extra, but I didn’t add it to this site, just saying in case someone says "did you set up archivist..." or whatever I am exhuasted I am done

why is it mentioning arhivist? what is that? I know about the extra, but have never installed it on the site, or the other sites having problems the host is up to date on sql and php versions, no updating lately by them. mysql 5.0.51a php 5
