Not at the moment; however, once we release the new site, you’ll have all kinds of profile editing abilities.

Is it possible to list all registered users on a page and have links to their profiles?
Or even better, have all registered users have one resource that they can edit from the frontend with FormIt or an other extension?
Or just handle users like resources?

Yes, see the "Peoples" Extra.

Yes, use the Profile snippet in the Login extra.

I have some issues with custom validation which will just not work and get error:

[Register] Validator "myValidator" for field "myfield" was not specified in the customValidators property.

Any ideas what i’m doing wrong..

Set &customValidators=`myValidator` in your snippet call.

Thanks allot, could have thought about this by my self, the error message was pretty clear (it was late), i checked the doc http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Login.Register and could not see such a property so i assumed it has to be something else.

But well done guys Login 1.5.2 really rocks as all the rest of revo does!

On an other note i try to validate a CheckBox (terms and conditions).

Currently i’m using a hidden input field which is set via JS from my CheckBox, this works just thought perhaps theres a direct way?
