i’m building a website in modx, and now i want to add an portfolio page, where the user can upload images herself.. but the image uploader doesn’t work.. how can i fix that?
i can’t even create a new folder...
please help
Very weird, only thing i can come up with is something i had some time ago where the client had an user as publisher and when moving the website to an other hosting i had to resave the user which solved the problem.
Some bug in the moving process i think. The client wasn’t able to see any images.

There are several possibilities here, two come to mind immediately
1. Check the setting for allowing resource browsing in the configuration
2. Check the paths in the Interface and Features tab of the Configuration
but on a other site witch i made, i had’t that problem... but since a few day’s the image uploader is nog working on that site either... and i didn’t do anything.
Maybe some (security) settings are changed on the hostingserver?

Have you or the client uploaded a file with accented or other special characters or in file name to assets/images -folder recently? If so, rename that file and try again.
