I just installed beta 2 and I have tried using both the snippet call method and the template method but neither seem to be working.

Is there any special settings I must have enabled in order for this to work?

Is it supposed to display as a component in the manager?

I had some issues with the Namespace being incorrect. So verify that the namesspace "churchevents" is correct. It should be {core_path}components/churchevents/. See this page: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Custom+Manager+Pages#CustomManagerPages-CreatingaNamespace for how to edit a namespace. Once that is correct you should be able to view the calendar. Let me know if you can’t see it.

Once you have logged into the /manager you can add events, calendars and categories. Note you should add at least one calendar and category before you add any events. I need to figure out how to insert some calendars and categories on install to fix this issue.

I will try to get detailed documentation posted this week.

I installed, changed the namespaces, started making calendars and categories.

I wasn’t able to create a category, it said there was an invalid email address, all though there is no request for one.
Maybe it had something to do with putting in the wrong value for the color ? I tried "black" and "#000000" but it didn’t put anything out.

Now I’m getting the next error (I don’t think it has something to do with the colors):

Did you modify the file: /tramzwart.kaskprojecten.be/core/components/churchevents/index.php? Or call on the snippet twice on the same page? I don’t see how else this error can come up.

What’s confusing is I am using the date picker and it is in fact the correct format.

It’s looking good I will keep playing with it and post back my findings.

Nice efforts if you can get this stable. Would really be handy for the modx community since a snippet like this is very much needed.

Im getting the same email error as ididv had been.

Not quite sure how to add categories either.
I wish someone would help you with this project. Im too stupid to or I would help.

FYI: I was able to add calendar once I applied that change posted above. But this is what I get when I try to add category.

I have a working email in the calendar area that asks for it but no place for category, same with "required" things that report invalid in errors i pasted.
